Hi everyone,

I hope you survived Christmas with adding too much poundage! I had two weeks off this Christmas for the first time in a decade and i have to admit I had a ball.. and I dont think I put on more than a couple of pounds.. I hope!! The aim was to survive the holiday season, and the tips I've learned over the last few months certainly helped me to do that. I'll be weighing in later in the week so I'll keep you posted.

I'm here drinking a cup of horrible pu-erh tea at the moment in an effort to battle the bulmers bloat I've gained, and man its disgusting!! I dont much care for green tea either but I'm determined to drink one cup of the evil stuff a day. Any tips on making it more palatable are appreciated - i'm just letting it go cold and slugging it.. ugh!

SO, drinking horrible tea and two litres of water a day are my resolutions for January, after I've rehydrated from the holiday season I might go back to tackling the exersise issue.. but one resolution at a time!

Try Rooibus tea, I have found it to be the nicest of the herbal teas and you can even put a little skimmed milk in it. It has a lot of health benefits and is cafeine free.

Hi Elaine,

Try Tetley Green Tea with Lemon or Twinnings Green Tea with Pomegranate or Cranberry. Dont be drinking them cold, jaysus that sounds vile. I started drinking herbal teas bout 2 years ago & believe me it wasnt for the love of it - if it helps shift the stubborn pounds I'm up for anything ! Dont put boiling water in straight from the kettle, let it cool a bit & it wont taste as bitter. Peppermint tea is lush ! Really good after eating something, helps digestion etc & really does stop ya from grabbing a bar after ur dinner as well. I cant remember the last time I drank ordinary tea & coffee is a once in a wonder treat now. I love all the herbal teas & drink about 8 mugs of it a day now ! Anyway I watch ya every morning & I think you look fantastic ! Even the shine on your hair & the gleam of your skin is amazing. You really are an inspiration to all of us standing in pj's & slippers making kids lunches every morning. Keep up the great work ! ( Wish I could listen to myself as well.. LOL !!! )
