I've been off white bread since Ash Wed..... I'm like an addict without a fix. Apart from wanting to atone for my many sins, I also needed to kick start the weight loss again. One more stone and I'm there, but its gonna be a hard one!!!!

I'm contemplating sticking my head on the body of Elle McPherson and putting it on the fridge, or maybe I'd be better off glueing it to the treadmill... hmmmm... what to do.

I'm still a disaster at the exersize, so any tips would be helpful.. has anyone tried the unislim DVD? Anyhow, if anyone can advise me how to get properly back on track I'd really appreciate it.. talk soon!

Elaine :)

Hi Elaine
I really would recommend the DVD. I tried DVD's in the past and gave up after 5 minutes, sat down with Tea and a biscuit and vowed I would just watch it once first and then be all set to do it the next day. Needless to say, it never happened.
To my amazement, I got through the 15 min warm up no problem and then the cardio section in the same session. I tend to do the warm up and the cardio mostly. Although if you are not up to that straight away, you will definitely manage the 15 minute warm up and the toning section. It's so handy as you can do it at home anytime and u feel great after it. I find it great on the days I cant go out due to bad weather. I just plug it into the laptop and put it on the kitchen counter and away I go. Like most exercise, I am not always keen to get started but once I am 5 minutes, cobwebs are blown away and I feel fantastic. We also have a super new digital skipping rope which burns 2 units in 10 mins and the DVD will burn you 4 units in 45 minutes so both a super way to speed up the weight loss and have you feeling great.

Hi Elaine,

the Unislim DVD is a great workout. I also swear by the Unislim resistence bands. They are great for toning arms and tummy I would be lost without mine!
I too hate exercise but love how it makes me feel. I try & catch up on some TV via iplayer or watch a DVD while on the cross trainer.

Good luck with your remaining weight loss. You will have your Gold card before you know it!
